Instructions for Oral, Speed Presentation and Poster Presenters
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are 15 minutes - 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions.
Speed Presentations
Speed presentations are 5 minutes. During the speed presentation sessions there will be no time for questions after each presentation, there will be a discussion and question session at the end of the session.
Presentations/Speaker Preview Room
All rooms will be equipped with a laptop and data projector. Presenters are asked to use the equipment provided in the room.
The speakers’ preview room will be located in the Etive Room in the Loch Suite at the SECC. The opening times are:
Wednesday: 0800 – 1700
Thursday: 0800 – 1730
Friday: 0800 - 1700
Saturday: 0800 - 1400
Presenters are asked to submit their presentations no later than 30 minutes before the start of their session.
Posters
Posters will be displayed in Hall 5 of the SECC throughout the congress.
Poster boards are 2 metres high x 1 metre wide – posters should fit within the space provided. The recomended poster size is A0 portrait.
Poster should be mounted on the allocated poster board from 1500 – 1800 hours on Tuesday or 0800 – 1000 hours on Wednesday. Fixings (velcro) will be provided by the organisers.
The attended poster session will take place from 1630 - 1830 hours on Thursday 30th August. Poster presenters with odd-numbered posters are asked to stand at their boards from 1630 - 1730 hours and poster presenters will even-numbered posters arek asked to stand at their boards from 1730 - 1830 hours.
